-Introduction to mental health advocacy

-Self-care as a mental health advocate

The Orius Fellowship Program is an virtual 4-week program designed to empower Africans to become Mental Health First Aiders and Advocates. It combines expert-led training sessions with real-life case studies.

All people of African origin with an interest in mental health are encouraged to apply. This program is particularly suited to health workers, paramedics, first responders, counsellors, volunteers, mental health enthusiasts, and the general public, operating within the African context.

The Orius Fellowship Program costs $15 ONLY.

No. This is a virtual program. Sessions typically hold by 12PM WAT on Saturdays via the Google Meet app.

You will learn directly from medical and mental health experts in the lecture sessions, collaborate with your colleagues for social impact projects, download digital resources and toolkits, and earn a MHFA certificate. You will also receive continual post-fellowship support via our interactive alumni network, gain access to AMA sessions, and access career growth opportunities.
