The Orius Fellowship (PFAider®) Program is an online training that equips Africans with the skills to recognize and respond to mental ill-health and emergencies.
The curriculum contains 4 modules: 'Introduction to Mental Health', 'Common Mental Health Disorders', 'Mental Health First Aid', and 'Mental Health Advocacy'. Sessions are delivered online via Google Meet on weekends.
Lectures are delivered by medical and mental health professionals, and people with lived experiences. You also learn from the experiences and perspectives of your peers during contributory sessions.
The Orius Fellowship (PFAider®) Program costs 49,900 naira ONLY (Certification included) from January 2025.
Being a PFAider® equips you with the skills to provide immediate support to someone experiencing a mental health challenge, promotes personal mental well-being, enhances empathy and communication, and fosters a safer more supportive community or workplace.
Graduates of the Orius Fellowship (PFAider®) Program are certified and recognized as Psychological First Aiders. As an alumni, you also get access to mental health resources, including access to post-training benefits such as a community of fellow PFAiders® to co-learn and collaborate on projects, priority access to monthly webinars, guides, toolkits, updates on career and business opportunities in the mental health space, and discounts on Orius Medical's services.
